Managing Google Workspace Licenses
Overview
After transferring your Google Workspace billing to ShiftControl, you’ll now manage your Workspace licenses through our reseller channel.
This ensures smooth billing, consolidated support, and the ability for our team to assist you directly with provisioning and license adjustments.
Adding or Removing Licenses
At this time, license changes need to be handled by the ShiftControl team.
Request License Changes
If you need to add or remove licenses, please reach out to us using one of the following options:
- Email us at [email protected]
- Message your dedicated Slack or Google Chat channel
Provide Details
When requesting changes, please include:
- The number of licenses you wish to add or remove
- The Google Workspace edition (e.g. Business Starter, Business Standard, etc.)
- The domain name associated with your Workspace account
We’ll Handle the Update
Our team will process your license request through Google’s reseller system and confirm once complete. Changes are typically effective within 1–2 business days.
Coming Soon: Self-Service in ShiftControl
We’re building a self-service license management experience directly inside the ShiftControl platform.
This will allow you to:
- Add or remove Google Workspace licenses instantly
- View your current license usage and billing details
- Track pending license requests
